Disney Summer Playlist

Hello!

Don't you just love it during the summer when you can sit outside in the sunshine with all your favourite people, listening to cool music and eating delicious food? I certainly do! And what could make it any better than listening to all your favourite Disney songs?! I love chilling out in the hot weather to some of my favourite Disney tunes which make me feel upbeat and happy. I know that there are so many good Disney songs out there and it hard to pick certain ones to listen to. So, I decided to put together a playlist of great songs that make me feel cheerful and lively.

1. In Summer - Frozen (obviously!)
2. That's How You Know - Enchanted
3. Hakuna Matata - The Lion King
4. Under The Sea - The Little Mermaid
5. Friend Like Me - Aladdin
6. When Will My Life Begin? - Tangled
7. Digga Tunnah Dance - The Lion King 3 (1 1/2)
8. When We're Human - The Princess and the Frog
9. I Just Can't Wait To Be King - The Lion King
10. Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride - Lilo and Stitch
11. Trashin' The Camp - Tarzan
12. The Unbirthday Song - Alice in Wonderland
13. Zero To Hero - Hercules
14. I Wan'na Be Like You - The Jungle Book
15. I'll Make A Man Out Of You - Mulan
16. We Belong Together - Toy Story 3
17. Colours Of The Wind - Pocahontas
18. Belle - Beauty and the Beast
19. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah - Song of the South
20. The Bare Necessities - The Jungle Book

These are all my favourite songs to listen to during the summer and I hope that you enjoy listening to them too. Perhaps you could make your own summer playlist of all your favourite Disney songs!

July Favourites

Hello!

Where has this month gone?! It feels like only last week when I was writing my June Favourites! However, as it is the last Saturday of the month, I am going to show you all my favourite things from the past month. The weather has been getting increasingly warmer, which is lovely for the summer, so I had to find items that were cooling and not too heavy.

I am going to start off with my beauty favourites. I have been using all these products all the time in the past month!

Champneys Watermint Lotion Spritz

I absolutely love using this product in the summer as it is so refreshing! After a shower, instead of using a heavy moisturiser, you can use this lotion to moisturise. You spritz it onto your skin which is really cooling. The other thing that I love about this product is that it smells amazing! I love all things mint so for it to smell of it makes it one of my favourite products.

Hand Maid Antibacterial Hand Cleansing Gel

I was introduced to this Soap & Glory product last year by my best friend Ellen and I really liked it! I always like to use hand gel as it makes me feel refreshed and clean. The reason that I like this particular one so much is because it smells so good and it is very light. Usually, antibacterial hand gel smell of chemicals, but this one smell of grapefruit and flowers!

Natural Collection Nail Polish

Personally, I think that this is the perfect colour to have on your nails during the summer! The pictures don't really do it justice, but it is really pretty orange/pink coral colour with a slight shimmer in it. This polish is from Natural Collection in the colour Antique Coral. I love putting this on my nails in the summer!

Rose and Almond Oil Vaseline

This Vaseline product has been my favourite lip balm for a very long time! When you use it, it tints your lips a beautiful rosy pink colour, whilst moisturising them. It makes your lips feel so soft and makes them taste like rose. I enjoy using this product in the summer as you want to care for your lips but give them a slight tint of colour.

Up next, is my favourite outfit from the month of July!

I bought this dress a couple of years ago in New Look. I really enjoy wearing it as it is made out of light material and can be worn at any time of the day. You can wear it with flats during the daytime and then dress it up with a belt and some heels for the evening. I love these type of dresses as I think that they can be very flattering but still be comfortable. Unfortunately, this dress isn't available in New Look anymore, however they do sell lots of other gorgeous dresses which I recommend you check out!

Now I am going to show my favourite book that I have read this month!

This book is called A Hundred Pieces Of Me by Lucy Dillon. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am in love with the story of the main character, Gina. The way that the author wrote the book was extremely clever and I think that she is an excellent writer. She describes things so beautifully and has a gift of pulling you into the book, as though you are watching what happens in front of you. One of things that I love most about the way that she writes is that she leaves you hanging with so many clues and questions. She gives out little hints and then lets you think about them however you wish to, then describes what really happened later on in the book. The story is about a woman called Gina Bellamy who is starting again, after a few years she'd rather forget. But, all her belongings do not fit into her new life. So Gina makes a resolution. She will keep just a hundred special items and the rest can go. However, that means coming to terms with her past and learning to embrace the future, whatever it might bring. I really recommend you read this book as it is brilliant and it really makes you think about how important things really are.

Finally, I am going to share with you my favourite Disney thing that I have been loving in July.

The pictures that you see above are screenshots from two videos made by a very talented woman called Heather. She has created two videos of Disney medleys which are absolutely incredible. She sings a cappella (meaning it is only her voice) and arranges it, records it and edits it all by herself. And as if that it not enough, she also does all her own hair and make-up! I think that the two medleys are very well put together and I love listening to them! I discovered these videos quite a while ago, but this month I have been listening to them non-stop! She is so incredibly talented and I think that you should all go and check out her videos.

Those are all my favourite things for this month! I hope that you have enjoyed seeing what products, clothes, books and Disney items I have been loving in July! I am looking forward to writing another one in August.

Queen Elsa Inspired Eye Make-Up Tutorial

Hello!

This Disney Tuesday I thought that I would do something a little bit different to the posts that I have done previously. You all know how much I love Frozen and that I absolutely adore Queen Elsa. I think that she is inspirational, kind-hearted and very very pretty! She is very well known for her stunning looks and sense of fashion.

Thinking of this, I decided to try out a make-up look inspired by Elsa. Now, I am not the best at make-up, but I tried very hard to create a cute eye make-up look which represented Elsa and her beauty. I decided that in the end I quite liked the look, so I thought that I would share it with you today in a tutorial. I apologise for any blurry pictures or bad lighting.

For this look I used two different eyeshadow brushes. The first that I used was my brush from The Body Shop. It is a really nice shape for applying eyeshadow and it is really soft! The second brush I used for blending in the colours. This brush is from Boots. It was super cheap and excellent for blending.

The first product that I used to create this look was my Avon Color Trend eyeshadow pencil. This one is in the colour Purple Lapis. Before doing this tutorial I hadn't actually used this eyeshadow pencil before, as I was looking for the right colours to match it with. I thought that this purple colour suited the look as, in the film, Elsa wears a shimmery purple on her eyes.

I applied this all over my lid, focusing on getting that pretty shimmery purple colours all over the lid. Once you have done that it should look something like this:

(ignore the weird little eyelash!)

Next I took a colour from a pallet which a friend bought me for Christmas a few years ago. Unfortunately, I do not know the name of it or where they got it from - because it doesn't have a label on it - but the colours that I use are very basic and should be very easy to find from other brands. The pallet consists of multiple eyeshadows, all in different shades. There are some pink colours, natural colours or some more cold colours such as blues and silvers. As you can see there are two blushers, both a pink colour, but one is paler than the other. It also comes with four little sponge eyeshadow applicators and one small brush to apply the blusher with.

The first colour that I used from this pallet was one of the natural colours. I would describe it as a bronze/tan colour with a shimmer. I applied this to my crease and then blended it in with my fluffy brush from Boots.

Next, I took a blue/silver colour and applied this underneath my eye, below my lashline. I chose this colour to go under my eye as I think with it being such a cold colour it represents Elsa's ice powers.

The last colour that I used was very light. It was very pale and had a slight shimmer to it. I applied this colour in the corner of my eye and on the brow bone as a highlight. Additionally, I dusted it onto my waterline in order to make my eyes appear bigger and cartoon-like. After this, I also applied my mascara. I have told you multiple times before that my favourite mascara is my Rimmel London Extra Super Lash Mascara. This product has appeared in both my June Favourites and What's In My Make-Up Bag.

And that is it! This look is super easy and so pretty. I think that this look is also perfect for summer as it uses bright colours. I hope that you have enjoyed this post as it is slightly different to my regular Disney posts. Let me know if you liked it and would like me to do more posts like it.

What's In My Make-Up Bag

Hello!

Hooray! My favourite season is upon us! It is summer time! I love the summer as the weather gets warmer, the grass gets greener, the evenings get longer and life gets better. In the summer it is so nice to relax and enjoy spending time with all your favourite people. We all know that when it is hot we want stay as cool as possible, so you don't want lots of make-up on. During the summer months I like to change up what products I have in my make-up bag, as I don't like wearing heavy foundations or dark colours on my lips. So, today I thought that I would show you what is in my make-up bag!

The first product that I have in the bag is my Dream Pure 8-in-1 BB Cream by Maybelline New York. I really like this BB cream as it is really light and it has great coverage. I own the cream for oily skin in the colour light but you can buy the Dream Fresh BB Cream which is for all skin types and comes in many different colours. The other great thing about this product is that it has SPF 15 in it which means that it protects your skin. However, if it is really sunny outside please make sure that you put on proper sun cream or a foundation/BB Cream that has a higher SPF, as it is really important that you take care of your skin. I do not use this product every day in the summer, as most of the time you want to wear as little as possible, however if my skin is particularly bad then I will use this to cover up.

Next is my concealer. I use the Hide The Blemish Concealer by Rimmel London. I absolutely love this concealer as it has really great coverage for blemishes and under-eye circles. It is also really light so when you have it on you cannot feel it at all, which is perfect for the summer time. However, I use this concealer all year round because I love it so much! The one that I own is in the colour 001 Ivory. Another good thing about this product is that it lasts a really long time.

After I have applied the BB cream and/or the concealer I will go on to apply a powder. The powder that I use is from Rimmel London and is their Stay Matte Long Lasting Press Powder. I have used this powder for quite a long time now and I really like it. It is so good for leaving your skin with a matte look and it will last a really long time. You can buy the powder in a range of colours, but my one is in the colour 004 Sandstorm. This product is also great for minimising the appearance of pores.
To apply the powder I use my Laura Geller Retractable Powder Brush. This brush is so soft and is really handy as after you have used you can just pop the lid back on to prevent it from being damaged. You can apply a good amount of powder onto the brush and I find that it distributes the powder very evenly on the skin.

The next product in my make-up bag is my Scandal Eyes Precision Micro Eyeliner. This eyeliner is really good as the tip is so fine making it easier to create the perfect line. It is almost like a felt tip! This is the perfect eyeliner for beginners as it is so simple to use and you can create different styles of liner. This product also happens to be waterproof, however I cannot tell you how waterproof it is as I have never tested it! I don't tend to use this product every day as most days I like to wear as little make-up as possible, but if I am going out for dinner with family or friends then I think that eyeliner can look nice and smart.

If I do not use this eyeliner, but still want to add something more to my eyes then I will use this next product. It is my Color Trend Pencil Eyeliner from Avon. This eyeliner can be worn either along your lash line or on your waterline. I think that this pencil is really good as it comes out a very deep black and stays on your eyes without smudging for a long time. I use this eyeliner quite a lot as I love to use it when I tightline my eyes. Although I like this product I do not recommend that you use it if you are going out somewhere where you might sweat a lot as it could smudge.

Next in my make-up bag is my two favourite mascaras. The first of the two is my Scandal Eyes Waterproof Mascara by Rimmel London. I bought this mascara a couple of months ago as it came to my attention that I did not own a waterproof mascara. Since buying it I have used it frequently and have really liked it. The brush is very large which means that it extends over all my lashes. I also really like the packaging! It isn't my favourite mascara, but I do think that it is very good.

My second mascara is definitely my favourite. It is my Extra Super Lash Mascara from Rimmel London. This has been my favourite mascara for a while now as I really enjoy using it. It makes my lashes super long, separates them out so they look thick and makes them very black. The brush is a perfect shape as it allows you to reach all your lashes. The other great thing about this mascara is that once you have it on it feels so light and you hardly notice that you are wearing any thing at all! I think that this is perfect for the summer. I love this product so much that it made my June Favourites.

The final item in my make-up bag is my favourite product for my lips at the moment. This product is my Colour Rush Balm from Rimmel London in the colour Not An Illusion. I love this lip balm so much at the moment as I think that it is in such a perfect colour and I love the fact that it is a balm so it doesn't dry up your lips like some products. One of my favourite things about this product is that it is shaped like a crayon so it makes it super easy to apply. The colour of this will stay on your lips pretty much the whole day which is great, especially in the summer when it is really warm and you don't want to keep having to apply colour to your lips. This product also made it into my June Favourites.

Lastly, I thought that I would tell you a bit about my make-up bag itself. My grandparents very kindly bought it me for Easter this year and I really like it! I think that it is the perfect size for storing all your make up products. I absolutely love the design on it and I think that the little heart on the front is super cute! They also bought me a smaller matching bag which I use for brushes.

I hope that you have enjoyed seeing what products I keep in my make-up bag in the summer as I had a lot of fun writing this post. I hope that have a lovely weekend and I am looking forward to my next post on Tuesday.
